The goods

Modus Work Ergonomics Ltd. supplies physical home office and workplace ergonomic goods, including monitor arms, desk risers, posture cushions, wrist supports, footrests, and cable management equipment designed to support general comfort during work routines. Each product page details item specifications, component lists, and materials. Photography serves an illustrative role; outer cardboard packaging may present minor variations.

Ordering and contract

Your order is logged once you complete the checkout sequence. We acknowledge receipt by email, and the binding sales contract is formed upon warehouse dispatch. We reserve the right to cancel an order due to inventory deficits or unverified client details, issuing a prompt refund for any collected funds.

Prices and payment

Prices are quoted in GBP and incorporate statutory VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed before you authorize payment. Accepted options: Cash on delivery. If an obvious pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to correct the figure before dispatch and request your reconfirmation or cancel the order.

Delivery

Available carrier services, delivery schedules, and charges are detailed on the Delivery & Payment page. Physical risk transfers to the buyer upon receipt of the shipment.

Product images and colours

Photographs depict the actual models we produce and ship. Rendered colors vary depending on your display hardware, software profile, and room lighting; slight variations in surface finish or hue do not qualify as structural defects and do not justify cost-free returns. Exact dimensions, metal finishes, and package contents are published on every product entry.

Transfer of risk

We bear full responsibility for the items until the carrier delivers them to your address or into the hands of your appointed recipient. From that point forward, risk of damage or loss transfers to you. Note any exterior box damage directly with the courier upon arrival and notify our team within 48 hours.

Returns and warranty

You can return physical goods within 30 days of receipt following the steps on our Returns page. In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all items supplied are guaranteed to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described, accompanied by a standard 24-month statutory repair or replacement warranty against manufacturing faults and material defects.

• Customised, modified, or bespoke workstation components tailored to specific non-standard dimensions
• Items with clear signs of assembly, bolt-threading wear, or structural alterations that prevent resale in original condition
• Ergonomic fabric seat cushions, lumbar covers, or wrist rests where hygiene seals or protective plastic packaging have been unsealed after delivery
• Goods that have been combined inseparably with other property or third-party desk structures after delivery
• Unsealed digital assembly manuals, digital vouchers, or software configuration licenses

Liability

Modus Work Ergonomics Ltd. limits its total liability for any claim arising under these terms to the total purchase price paid by the customer for the specific order or £100, whichever amount is greater, excluding liability that cannot be excluded under United Kingdom law. No clause within these conditions seeks to restrict liability that statutory consumer legislation prohibits from being excluded.

Age and use

You must be at least 18 years of age to submit an order. Workplace tools and supports must be assembled and adjusted according to the accompanying instructions; our ergonomic hardware does not replace professional medical intervention.

Governing law and disputes

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, with the exclusive jurisdiction vested in the courts of the United Kingdom. Should direct discussion fail to resolve a dispute, jurisdiction falls to the competent court at the seller's registered office, preserving all statutory consumer protections in your country of residence.
